First pick of the 2020 Pinot Meunier at The Eyrie Vineyards—an unforgettable beginning.

In 2020, I produced two small-lot wines that remain deeply meaningful to me: a bright, expressive Gamay Noir made at Day Wines, and a quietly powerful Pinot Meunier crafted with The Eyrie Vineyards. Both sold out, though as of Fall 2025, a few bottles remain on the shelves at Providore, Division Wines, and Ora et Labora in Portland, OR. This page simply archives the vintage: the tech sheets, the notes, and the photos that began my winemaking chapter.

I’m walking my way back toward the barrels and the quiet alchemy of winemaking, seeking the partners and collaborators who feel called to help shape what’s coming next.

I adore Pinot Meunier, and this is drinking like magic right now. Violet berry, gorgeous forest floor, delicacy and grace, and supremely balanced concentration. It is November in a bottle, and it transports me to an enchanted Autumn forest.
